Follow process orders from beginning to end and record all pertinent information. Individual will add materials at specified quantities and times, observe temperatures and or mixtures and chemical reactions, record necessary batch information, and take, conduct and record samples at designated times to ensure timely, consistent, quality batches. Mixer will operate forklift and other material handling equipment. Participate in confined space entry pot cleaning activities, which include use of body harness and extraction system. Mixing position will participate in determining and implementing corrective actions. Must be able to wear all required PPE including air purified respirators. This position may also be assigned tasks in other functional areas as required to help support overall success of the facility. The fluids division work regular full-time schedules. However, work schedule consists of working hours of 60 or 70 hours per week when traveling extensively (weeks at a time) throughout the U.S. to and from drilling/job sites to help in their operation or respond to problems when they arise. When they are at a drilling/job site, it is common for these operators to work in a rotating schedule. Duties And Responsibilities Performs a wide range of skilled repetitive mechanical assembly operations in support of tanking equipment maintenance and delivery. Assembles, modifies, reworks, and/or reassembles tanking, follows process documentation, and/or verbal instructions. Prepares and utilizes basic hand tools and machines including but not limited to power screwdriver, ruler, solder iron, clamp machine, heat gun, vise, solder pot, crimpers, pinning machine, and automatic wire strippers.
